Unlock your Italian: exam prep & everyday life
6 years teaching
About me
Hi, welcome to my profile! I'm Dunia, an Italian teacher with six years of experience specialising in online teaching methods. This extensive teaching background has given me deep insight into the most effective language-learning techniques, allowing me to adapt to how each student learns best. Whether you are starting from scratch, aiming for a certification, or looking to navigate daily life in Italy, my goal is to get you speaking with confidence from our very first lesson. When I am not teaching, I am deeply passionate about the arts. I love music, theatre, ballet, and exploring art galleries. I am also fascinated by classic cinema, contemporary literature, and discovering local culinary traditions: topics that often make for fantastic conversation practice in our classes!
How I teach
My teaching approach is deeply rooted in the communicative method: instead of just memorising grammar, you will actively use the language in practical, real-life situations right from the start. We will use authentic materials like articles, short videos, official exam simulations, and interactive role-plays to keep every session dynamic and completely tailored to your needs. Learning a new language is a beautiful but challenging journey, and I am here to guide you through every step of it.
